PRODUCT SEARCH
Introduction
Welcome to our JMT Leather website. This site has been deliberately organized to allow speedy and direct access to all our product ranges, colours and finishes in an interactive way which should enable you to get the best professional results. To optimize its use, we invite you to open a free personal and confidential account which will enable you to store and e-mail swatch samples and comments and to retain a record of all your choices both past and present.
In any event the search filter is available to both Account Holders and Non-Account holders.
Search Filter
This powerful tool allows you to search through our entire database of leathers and filter down to a specific choice or choices using our main criteria of colour category, finish, application and range. You can also search through our ‘other products’, which are sheepskins, hair on hides, welts and leather tiles.
For example - if you’re looking for a red leather with a matt finish to upholster club chairs in a hotel lobby, this is how you would search.
- Login to the site with your username and password (or create an account if you haven’t already done so).
- Create a new swatchbox and name it - this helpful function enables you to save selected items in order to view or compare them later, email them to clients/colleagues and order samples. You can create and manage as many swatchboxes as you like - they will be saved on our system indefinitely.
- To begin the search either click ‘Colour category’ to expand the list and then click ‘Red/Pink’, OR simply click the ‘Red/Pink’ circle in the colour category palette on the right of the page. This will search through the database and display all our ‘Red/Pink’ leathers - 17 in total.
- Next, click ‘By Finish’ to expand that list, then click ‘Matt’ to further filter the 17 results into matt only leathers. This leaves 8 results in total.
- Finally, click ‘By Application’ to expand that list, then click ‘Contract Upholstery’ to filter the leathers appropriate for contract use. This leaves the 8 results unchanged as they are all suitable.
- To get more information about any of these leathers, click on the image or the
icon of your chosen leather. A new page will display a larger image and care instructions/technical information. Click ‘Back to search results’ returns you the results page. - Once you are happy with the filtered results (at any time you can go back and start again or change your mind and choose different criteria), then you can choose leathers to save to your swatchbox. By looking at the results, the 2 ‘red’ leathers that match your designs closely are ‘Milano, Wine’ and ‘Shelly, Poppy.’ To add them to your swatchbox click the icon beneath the image. You will then see them added to your swatch box in the right hand column (you can still see their details by clicking
). They are automatically saved for further visits, so don’t worry they’ll disappear when you logout! - If for instance, you now wanted to search blue leathers as an alternate option, simply click the blue circle from the palette at the foot of the page or click ‘Blue’ from the clickable list on the left hand side - this will clear the previous search. There will be 7 matching results for ‘Blue’ displayed. To further filter these blues, just follow the same process as before by choosing an appropriate finish, application or range. It couldn’t be easier!
Ordering Swatches
- You will need to create an account and have a valid business address in order to use our swatch sample service. Once this is complete, you can request samples from your saved swatchboxes by clicking ’Order Swatchbox Samples’ and following the instructions.
